jphat007
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 07:10 PM) Chcecking the scoreboards here.....I sure hope the BoSox cool off by the time they come here next week. About to win 11th straight. Everybody in the AL is hot.
VAfan
QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 09:09 PM) Not really. We had a deep fly out and Dye just missed connecting on a long ball also. As I said, I'm only watching Gameday, and going back and forth I didn't see how deep the balls were. Still, it was a very quick inning for them. brijames
I haven't had a chance to see Thornton pitch in awhile and wow, does he look impressive. The Sox bullpen looks a helluva lot better than it did a month ago.
fathom
Impressive inning by Thornton. It should be Jenks for the 9th. Lets get another insurance run.
BigSqwert
Jenks might get a chance to lead the AL in saves.
southsideirish71
Our pen has been looking good lately. The power arms at the end of the pen, might make it hard for people to get good ABs.

Spiegle
i agree with a lot of you here, i am really happy with our bullpen lately. Thornton has been unreal IMO, and Jenks has stopped any critics saying he wont continue his late season success of last year. If our bullpen can hold teams when we get in a little trouble, I will always have faith our offense can come back (like tonight). I would however like more than one run for Bobby... lets go sox! beautox
QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jun 28, 2006 -> 08:18 PM) Yet another steal by KW. indeed, if we could get Oliver Perez, for say Rogo + mid level pitching prospect would you want Kenny to pull the trigger?
