southsideirish71
QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 02:06 PM) Yup..at least Marshall has a legitimate offspeed pitch And was throwing strikes this inning. Lets hope that Garland decides to throw strikes. Pep talk from Cooper: When you are a pitcher that doesnt strike a lot of hitters out, and rely on a sinker you need to pitch ahead so they can pound said sinker into the ground. Hence why the 4 men that surround you are on the infield. Come on big Jon pitch ahead stay ahead. Pep Talk from ozzie: f***ING THROW STRIKES GODDAMN IT. CYGarland
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 12:06 PM) Glad we answered back there. Gonna need a whole lot of runs to win this one. JG looked as bad as he could be in that 1st inning, and still only gave up 2 runs. If he can just throw more strikes we should win this thing

Right now he cant Command s*** You wonder how a man who pitched in the allstar game, who pitched on the biggest stage in baseball in the playoffs and in the world series, suddenly decides that he lost confidence in his stuff and then nibbles. The sad thing is, the stuff is there. What is missing is between his ears. If he can ever get confidence in his stuff and throw strikes he will be fine.
