LowerCaseRepublican
Cubs fear BA. IBB. C'mon Garland...hit your 2nd homer of the year, you soul patch having motherf***er.
BFirebird
Cubs like my theory of facing the pitcher over the 8th place hitter here...but should not have given Juan anything to hit with BA on deck.
Jimbo's Drinker
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 02:20 PM) This is why the NL is retarded. How many times does BA get an intentional pass in a baseball game this year. So well have pods lead offin the 4th, ill take the run.

Heads22
Or, you could not swing at that curve Jon... Although, you seem to think every pitch near that corner is a good pitch.

LowerCaseRepublican
Got Pods leading off next inning and picked up another big run so a pretty productive inning. 4-2 Sox And here's to hoping that Jon continues his streak of first pitch strikes. CYGarland
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 12:22 PM) Curveballs to Garland. Pretty pathetic he has to throw those to our pitcher. Flash Tizzle
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 02:21 PM) Or, you could not swing at that curve Jon... Although, you seem to think every pitch near that corner is a good pitch. Garland knows himself how difficult it will be to hold this two run lead. Can you blame him for swinging out of his shoe? southsideirish71
Another hook to Jon. That kind of reminded me of the little league world series game, when the 12 year olds are throwing those big bending pitches that dont break a lot, yet all of the kids swing like they have never hit before. Another reason people should be using flip drills more instead of spending 100 dollars at the batting cages. oh well. Lets throw strikes and not give them back the lead.
