StrangeSox
It seems to me there's way too much of modern comedy, aka "dumb humor" like Dodgeball, Anchorman, etc. on the list. Those movies are enjoyable, sure, but best comedies of all time? I think not.
CanOfCorn
What was the criteria? Was it box office sales? Was it voted on by today's actors? I think that would explain a lot...there are a lot of funny movies on the list that I wouldn't put in the top 100, but that doesn't mean they aren't funny... Dick Allen
Dumb and Dumber at 75? It has to be in the top 5.
Kid Gleason
Wow...this is easily the worst list I have ever seen. That Rolling Stone Greatest Guitarist list was bad for placing Van Halen at 71 or whatever, and for leaving Brian Stezer off all together. But this list, as a whole, is ridiculous. Example: Not that I think either one is really "Greatest Comedy Ever" list candidates, but, ummm, how is Meet The Fockers placed so much higher than Meet The Parents? The second film was horrible. Pauly8509CWS
Legally Blonde? Give me a fricking break. This list sucks. Slapshot belongs in the top 20 easily. I agree with Major League, especially with just the Uecker scenes.
tonyho7476
Revenge of the Nerds is 91! YEah, Zoolander and Meet the Fockers were way better than that. HOrrible list.

A random Martin Lawrence movie is funnier than half of those movies. I agree, it too me a minute or two to Rebound from this list. However, I think they were just trying to be Bad Boys. They couldn't put so many films from the Black Knight on there without drawing too much suspicion. It is a Thin Line Between Love and Hate for so many of these film choices on this list. It is too bad that they didn't Do The Right Thing, but I guess that's just Life. After all, What's the Worst that Could Happen? At least it isn't a threat to National Security. KevHead0881
QUOTE(TaylorStSox @ Jul 5, 2006 -> 10:11 PM) One Wes Anderson film? That list really does suck. Yah, no kidding. The Royal Tennenbaums is definitely in my top 10. This list immediately lost credibility as soon as I saw Dodgeball on the list. I even mildly enjoyed it to some extent when I saw it at the theater, but when the funniest moment in a movie is some dude getting hit in the balls with a wrench, thats hardly a top comedy.
