Heads22
Series Preview: White Sox vs. Red Sox By Zach Hansen The White Sox will be welcoming the Boston Red Sox into Chicago, for the final series of the first half. With Thome-Konerko-Dye and Ortiz-Ramirez-Varitek, this series features the two best lineup triads in baseball. Boston will be coming into Chicago with a bit of a chip on their shoulder. The favored Red Sox were swept by the White Sox in the 2005 ALDS, and some outspoken members of Boston’s team feel slighted by manager Ozzie Guillen’s All-Star selections (despite having four representatives). If we dont get AT LEAST 2 of 3 I'll be shocked. RIP EM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, Vazquez and Garcia won't be pitching. As long as Ozzie doesn't foolishly throw Politte out there, we should take 2 of 3. Edited July 7, 2006 by kapkomet

Big Hurtin
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jul 7, 2006 -> 01:13 AM) NM then. I don't like his chances at all against Boston. Well, it is a day game. Beckett has been giving up a lot of home runs as well. One team will probably have to out slug the other rather than one pitcher shutting the other team down. That being said, the score will probably end up being 1-0.

Controlled Chaos
The only AL team Lester has faced is Texas and he lasted 4 1/3 with 5 hits 3 runs and 4 walks.
