Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 02:54 PM) that award is going to thome though. but yea, he looks awesome, offensively and defensively. >that allstar game commercial is funny. half the guys didnt even make the team and we have 7 allstars, yet not even one player is in the commercial. u would think atleast thome True. But everybody knew Thome was just hurt last year. Lowell just flat sucked. Everybody thought he was done.

fathom
Ha...brilliant idea to bring in a starter out of the pen, especially someone who can't get a K in a K situation. If you're going to let Cotts allow 2 righties to reach base before the batter, keep him in the f***ing game.

Heads22
I actually agree with what McCarver said. Jon did what he was supposed to. That's just tough luck that it was right in between Cintron and Iguchi.
fathom
This is another example of why Politte needs to be released. If he can't be counted on to pitch in this game, then get him the f*** off of the team.
The Critic
Gotta give the Red Cubs hitters credit for very good plate discipline after two strikes. They're hanging in there, making the Sox pitchers work and they end up getting a good pitch to hit.

That's just tough luck that it was right in between Cintron and Iguchi. I'm telling you, outside of Jenks, our pitchers can't get that big strikeout to end the inning before any runs are allowed. It's pathetic the amount of hits we're allowing with 2 strikes.
Greg The Bull Luzinski
Why is Garland brought in to get out of somebody else's jam when he rarely gets out of his own?

Politte just plain sucks.

I can hardly remember the last time a starter went 7 innings. They mostly leave with only 6 IP. More runs score. Seems we can't beat good teams, just like the Tigers.
