Frankensteiner
We're getting outplayed today. They've hit better, pitched better, and played better defense. I'd say they're the better team overall.
Sox It To Em
... and threre's a base hit. What else is new? How we managed to have the second best record in all of baseball is beyond me.
G&T
QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 03:29 PM) 3 hits in 4 batters for Garland. Once again, thanks Ozzie! He's not a releiver and you can thank Garcia for only going 5 innings and throwing 100 pitches.
fathom
The All-Star Break can't come soon enough for some of the people in this thread right now. I wonder what idiotic thing Ozzie will say next week though.
Milkman delivers
QUOTE(G&T @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 03:29 PM) Well we CAN blame the offense, but you are right. THIS ENTIRE SEASON when the pitchers needed a good inning they've failed miserably. These guys can't get a third out without something bad happening. Fixed that. GreatScott82
you can only outslug opponents for soo long. our pitching just isn't the same as last year. whats the team era anyways? it must be near 5 this is pathetic. I think the Red Sox are waaayy better this year than last year and right now the Red Sox and Tigers are better than us. (Right now that is) Kenny can still improve the team and maybe our pitching can wake uP?

I'm just looking at the big picture. I do not like what I see as far as the playoffs are concerned. That is, of course, assuming that we get there.
