Well, that's a relief.

 

Follow this logic: David Ortiz has a perfect batting eye; hencefore, he will never swing out of the strike-zone. Thus, via contripositive, should Ortiz not swing at a ball, it must be out of the strike-zone, otherwise this would contridict the premise of his perfect batting eye. Hencewidth, there can be no strike on Ortiz without him swinging.

Thank you.

 

However, as Clement pitches for Boston and they can pretty much do whatever the hell they want to, he can come in the game if this is advantageous to the Sawx.
