Jordan4life_2007
Pods is another one of our guys that could use a break. He's not where he needs to be mentally right now.

fathom
We've gotten our asses kicked by guys like Delcarmen and Hansen. What a pathetic f***ing effort this wknd.
southsideirish71
Another outside pitched pulled to the SS. Good approach today. The only one that has a plan today is the rook.
Milkman delivers
I think Boston's defense is just as good as ours overall. And it looks like we'll get to see this year's Cy Young award winner.

Gregory Pratt
I wonder if they'll send Javy out, THEN Papelbon. But Francona isn't a Larussa, is he?
southsideirish71
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 9, 2006 -> 03:41 PM) Our future LF just with a standup double. Its time for him to move out to LF for the 2nd half. Just in case, you know, pods keeps playing like he doesnt give a damn..

quickman
Pods has to be one of the worst fielding outfielders I have seen. For a guy who is fast he gets the worst jumps on balls and quite frankly when he is in the field he runs like a girl. He is on a short leash. if the guy cannot steal 50-60 bases he is quite useless. CYGarland
The whole Sox team should be embarrased after this weekend's lackluster effort, they didnt look prepared at all.

Big Hurtin
They were saying earlier on the Boston telecast (NESN) that both teams would be on the same flight to Pittsburgh. I think that's a BAD idea.

Didn't he face all of them yesterday? They looked terrible then, not one of them could hit a straight fastball down the plate. I sure hope they look better today. Milkman delivers
Bobby walks the leadoff hitter on 4 straight pitches. All we need is for Jenks to give up a few runs, and we'll have looked absolutely terrible in every facet of the game in this series. It's a good thing to do against our possibly playoff opponents. quickman
we had our chance a few innings ago with konerko and dye hitting with a man on third. That was the chance. Now we are screwed. By the way I am sure someone has these stats but Paulie seems to be in a little slump, at least to my eye, especially with runners on. Just in the last two series and especially this series.
