danman31 Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 Charlotte won 4-1. Owens, Velandia, and Gonzalez (HR #4) each with 2 hits. Haeger 5 IP, 1 R (unearned), 9 K, 1 BB, 2 hits, win #10. Phillips 3 innings of shutout relief before the AAA all-star break. Logan with a 1-2-3 9th for his 3rd save, looks like he is settling down in AAA. Box Score Barons off for the all-star break. Southern League All-Star game tomorrow. Nanita, Smith, Wasserman, Broadway, Lumsden, and LaMura are the Barons on the team. Winston-Salem scored 2 in the 9th to win 6-5. Roberts 2-4 with a run. De Los Santos 3-4 with a double and 2 runs. Torres started, but was shaky. Box Score Kanny lost 14-9. Cunningham 2-5 with an RBI and 2 runs. Sanchez had only 1 hit and 3 Ks but hit HR #7. Richard got beat around pretty good. Box Score Great Falls and the whole Pioneer League off today for some odd reason, weird considering it's a Sunday and they don't have an all-star break.
