southsider2k5
I like the Jenks vote. With as crazy as the starting pitching and bullpen as been, Jenks has been an anchor out there. I think the offense could have survived with out one of Thome or Dye, but this team would be 15 games out of first place without Jenks at the end of the pen. Hangar18
Paul Konerko. close 2nd place is Jermaine Dye & Joe Crede Edited July 12, 2006 by Hangar18
DrunkBomber
i went with Dye but it was a really hard choice. He definately is seeing pitches to hit because of the lineup and the addition of Thome. Dye is hitting for average and has the hr's and rbis. He also has made some good plays in the field. If Thomes average was up a little that would be enough to counter that hes a dh but all of them were big parts of the Sox success.
Keystone
Aaron Rowand is the MVP. Without him we don't have Thome and without Thome we don't have 57 wins.
