Gregory Pratt
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060711/ap_on_...tate_department http://thinkprogress.org/2006/07/11/four-m...id-wh-staffers/ There isn't a sole reason for anyone to be able to penetrate our computer systems. This is purely incompetent. And why is a man (the Director) being paid over a hundred thousand dollars to do nothing in this White House?
Balta1701
This is indeed a very odd joining of links.
Rex Kickass
I love the Director of Lessons Learned. Like in most places in Corporate America, the people who work on the bottom of the ladder in the White House got no raise this year. The people on the higher end though... Queen Prawn
No kidding Greg. It's been two years since anyone at the company I work at received a merit raise, but you can guarantee the big guys upstairs have received bonuses for making their numbers. Rex Kickass
The place I work with introduced a new commission structure in January of last year - that basically was a raise. Six weeks later, they cut the commission structure. Since then, nothing.
Queen Prawn
That seems to be the way of the USA anymore.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 07:01 PM) That seems to be the way of the USA anymore. Military life = fun. Plenty of opportunities to babysit grown adults. Mind numbing monotony punctuated by moments of extreme action. And a pretty decent pay scale and raises annually to go with hikes for promotions and time in service.

Gregory Pratt
QUOTE(YASNY @ Jul 12, 2006 -> 11:17 AM) Are they hiring 48 year old men? I saw some lady, in her forties/fifties, who was being sent to Iraq. They called her a "fighting Grandma" or something.
