southsideirish71
Huff for 2 minor leaguers
Balta1701
Man, the price on Huff really fell, getting him for what would be to my eye 2 mid-level prospects (one guy with an ERA above 4, the other guy with it appears an excellent bat but very little power.) Although I could be underestimating that Obrist guy a bit as a leadoff hitter type, still I expected the Rays to get better pitching for Huff. ChWRoCk2
Nice deal by the astros, got him cheap and Huff can add a bat to their lineup, solid move. Neither of those minor leaguers pops into my head but Talbot sounds familiar.

EvilJester99
Glad to see this... there were rumors the Tigers were after him...IIRC
Chisoxrd5
Zobrist is a real solid hitter. His OBP each year in the minors is ridiculous. He doesn't have a lot of HR power but hits a lot of doubles and triples. I could see him make an impact at some point for a major league team simply because his plate discipline is off the charts. Kalapse
Mitch Talbot still has some great upside as a starter. He has a sick change and is still only 22.
JDsDirtySox
I played college baseball with Ben Zobrist. He is a great person, and a great player. He is not talked about much right now... but I guarantee he will a starter for the Devil Rays within the next couple years.

Punch and Judy Garland
Well let's look back in 5 years. THe Rays could have had Brandon McCarthy and probably another arm or two for Baez and Huff. Instead they took Edwin Jackson, Tiffany, and these two guys. It remains to be seen what will work in the end

Milkman delivers
I didn't realize Lane was having such a bad year. I really liked what I saw from him the WS.
Hangar18
hahahaha. The Cubs were salivating over him or Crawford. Heard yesterday all day on talk radio that Zito may be next, and his destination is 8 miles north ...... what garbage.
Punch and Judy Garland
that sounds like Chicago talk radio garbage
Balta1701
I bet Beane would do that for Pie, maybe with another piece thrown in. Which the Cubs would have to be insane to do.

No offense, but the guy is 25 years old. He should be dominating AA if he wants to be considered any type of a prospect whatsoever...
