fathom
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 15, 2006 -> 07:23 PM) Does everyone agree that they'd rather trade Garcia over Vazquez? You know they're only teasing us with these trade rumors. I'd much rather trade Garcia, but I wouldn't cry if Vazquez is ever dealt.

Frankensteiner
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 15, 2006 -> 02:23 PM) The Braves are 5 1/2 out of the wild card. 1 game farther out than the White Sox will be behind Detroit after the Tigers beat up KC again today. Jones isn't available. There's more than 5 teams in between the Braves and the wild card team though.

I still can't see Ozzie rather having Vaz over Garcia. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 15, 2006 -> 02:25 PM) Am I a bad fan for wanting Politte to get crushed this inning? If he does, he'll just be out there tomorrow. Ozzie is big on 2nd chances.
fathom
I didn't see any mention of this, but the reports about Hermanson weren't promising at all. They said he's pitching in a lot of discomfort still.

I'd much rather trade Garcia, but I wouldn't cry if Vazquez is ever dealt. Neither would I. They both suck. I'm just more confident with the sucky pitcher that can throw in the 90's consistently. Send him where he wants to go. In addition if he goes 1-12 or whatever he did in 2003 than the St Louis Fans can praise him when he ends up at 500 for the year and they pay him 8 million. In the meantime we need to stop drafting crafty guys who top off at 92.

However, he's about to get EXTREMELY expensive. QUOTE(quickman @ Jul 15, 2006 -> 07:31 PM) But if he keeps sucking than he will be gone.
