Heads22
Charlotte pen blows one. Owens 3-5, Sweeney and Rogo 2-4. De Los Santos and Lorraine solid, Hermy and Farnsy...not so much. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/mil...=g_box&did=milb Lumsden giving up some runs, but keeping it close against the very tough Homer Bailey. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/mil...biraax_cngaax_1 WS delayed. Kanny tied at 2. Two triples through three innings, including Orlando. Savannah's shortstop is named Jose Contreras. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/mil...savafx_kanafx_1 KMAC starting, has an easy first. Tough task against a solid pitcher for Idaho Falls. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/mil...idarok_grfrok_1 Bristol rocking Greeneville. Inouye still above .365. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/mil...brirok_gvlrok_1
DBAHO
Looks like Lumsden was the victim of some bad D, B-Ham has 3 errors so far tonight.
danman31
Kanny lost in extras but 2 hits each for Cunningham, Castillo, and Gomes. Gomes and Cunningham seem to be heating up a bit.

danman31
Great Falls led 9-8, blew it in the 9th. The pitching just wanted to see Carter hit a walkoff. Carter hit a 2 run bomb in the bottom of the 9th to cap a 3-5 day that included a double, that HR, 3 RBI, and 2 runs. Yeah, he's way too good for the Pioneer League. Yeah, he's way too good for the Pioneer League. At some point the league has to stop pitching to him in the final AB. We won that marathon on Sunday in part because we pitched around Poppy when the opportunity presented itself.
Jordan4life_2007
I hope this puts to rest any illusion of Hermanson helping the Sox this year.

Chisoxfn
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 12:32 PM) Cortes' last 10 outings. 60.1 IP 62H 2HR 19BB 50K 3.13ERA He's really flying under the radar as a 19 year old in A ball. He also has a very good arm. Kanny had a ton of raw but toolsy guys that failed most of the year but some of them are starting to figure things out. Throws into the low to mid 90's (as high as 94-95) and has made a lot of strides with his changeup. Anyone have his groundball ratio cause I know he is supposed to have a real good sinker. danman31
According to minor league splits (their stats through 7/7, I added his last two outings) he has a 120:88 ratio with a 5:1 ratio in yesterday's game. Worth noting that he had a 21:20 ratio in April, 39:29 in May, 42:26 in June, and 18:13 so far in July. He has definitely improved as the year has gone on. Yeah he's definitely making his way up in terms of the Sox's SP prospects.
