CYGarland
If I was KW I'd be trying to make a deal ASAP to trade Freddy, and get McCarthy in the rotation. At this point its safe to say Freddy has just lost it, and has shown NO signs of getting it back.
Chisoxfn
5-2 now and Phillips scored with ease on a ball that I originally figured would be easy to nail Andy (so did DJ).
Heads22
Usually this team makes trades on Sundays, doesn't it? That'd be nice.

I'm starting to notice that also. Well Freddy's trade value isn't rising after this crap outing.
fathom
This ass-kicking this wknd might be the best thing that could have ever happened to this team.

Frankensteiner
It's gotten to the point where it's difficult to defend the rationale of not making a move to improve this team. We're clearly inferior to the Red Sox and Yankees.

BigSqwert
Time to make something happen here with the heart of our lineup. Scotty with a nice 1 out double.
Frankensteiner
Garcia's ERA now at 5.20. I would like to meet this mythical GM that is willing to pay up a king's ransom for Garcia. I have a hard time imagining Gillick being so stupid as to give up his All-Star closer. No way is that going to happen.

Kalapse
I'm really liking a trade of Fields to San Diego for Linebrink. I know the Pads are in first and all but I wonder if they'd possibly make such a move if it got them one of the best 3B prospects in baseball. The addition of Linebrink to the pen would allow for Bmac to enter the rotation after another move involving Garcia.
