TitoMB345
QUOTE(rudylaw @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 06:32 PM) I was thinking the same thing. I have no idea how that works. Well, if it is PAs, then he must have had some Sac Flies, two, to bring his OBP to 1 reach on 11 PAs.
southsideirish71
Garland looks great so far. Everything is down, and he is throwing strikes. What a difference getting ahead of people is for Garland.
TitoMB345
Garland is 2 up on Robertson now. I notice a trend.
The Ginger Kid
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 04:25 PM) Paulie makes a nice play to retire Maggs. that really was a nice play, wasn't a squibber hit down there. Mags scares me when he starts going to right.
soxpride77
Does Farmer ever not mention a home run during any players at-bat? How about just a hit?

TitoMB345
QUOTE(rudylaw @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 06:36 PM) Was BA's ball hit hard? All I see is line hard to 3rd? I missed the hit, but I heard the cheering, so I assume it must have been.
sin city sox fan
It looks so good seeing BA's profile on espn's game tracker and seeing that .200 average along side it....way to go Brian....lets make it .300 by the end of the year!
fullcollapse
ob% uses pa, so sac flies would count against it... after all they didn't get on base. by my count, jon has 23 pitches, 17 stikes, 6 balls, 3 ground outs, 2 fly outs, 1 strike out. Chisoxfn
Thome breaks his bat and we strand Guchi on 2nd. We've hit Robertson hard the past two innings. At least 1 run to show for all of it, but it could have been more (considering Anderson had a hang whiff em right at Inge).

TitoMB345
I predict Jon will have an 8 pitch inning, to follow the trend.
southsideirish71
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 06:38 PM) Thome breaks his bat and we strand Guchi on 2nd. We've hit Robertson hard the past two innings. At least 1 run to show for all of it, but it could have been more (considering Anderson had a hang whiff em right at Inge). Our right handers have the right approach today against a tough lefty. Dont pull the ball, go up the middle or oppo. This is how I wish our team would approach a lot of lefties. It would give us a better shot when we face them.
Misplaced_Sox
QUOTE(rudylaw @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 07:36 PM) Was BA's ball hit hard? All I see is line hard to 3rd? It was hit well, solid contact.... hit quickly at Inge and right about his head.... he had to make a lighting quick stab at it... good play by him.
