WHO CARES? This isn't Widgers fault, nor is it Ozzie's. It's been a close, good game. You can't blame people for that.

Leyland put his best lineup out there today. Ozzie didn't.

Actually, it would be nice to just once get some production from Widger. A hit in the 4th inning by him could have been the game.

This sucks I'm done scoreboard watching the Tigers I more worried about about the Yankees, Red Sox, and Twins. It's the Tigers year like it was ours last year. The Sox have never been a good second half team under Guillen and I don't expect that to change.

You can say that about a lot of people. Don't single out Widger just because he's having a bad year.

Regardless if it's his fault or not, Chris Widger is worthless.

His under .200 average, his inability to throw guys out ON A PITCH OUT.

Chris Widger is horrendous, and should be playing in an independent baseball league, he does not belong in the majors.

We shouldn't have to get used to inferior lineups in crucial series. Its retarded.

Just make sure you bring that up at the end of the game.

Alright. Seems like we've been able to score runs against the best closers in the AL this year. Then again, the Sox won't today just to spite me. :D

Anyways, as long as Leyland believes in Jones, teams have a shot in the ninth against Detroit.

I was watching at lunch and I think another huge factor that's killing us is how many men we leave on base.

OMG bases loaded with either one or no outs and NOBODY gets in?

And WTF with scoring only one run thus far? We should be up 5, 6 runs.

Indeed. How can you look at what he brings and think "Yeah, he's a player worthy of being on a championship caliber team."?

I'm saying our hitters look like spiff today. We could be hitting against their batting practice pitcher and you'd still a bunch of ground outs to the left side.

Well, Ozzie threw this series away. You can't have scrubs start 2/3 of the games. This series is meaningful, he admitted himself AND HE STILL PUT spiffTY LINEUPS TOGETHER!

Can anybody name the last game where a bench player didn't start because I cant?

Or because he is hitless and has left the most men on base?

Both he and Uribe have left 4 on base, while Ozuna has left 3 on. Ozuna, Iguchi, Thome, and Konerko are also hitless.
