DBAHO
Yeah not good for Harrell at all, 4BB's and 1K. Stll had a 10-2 GB/FB ratio though. Bull had 2 scoreless innings for Mobile as well. Good to see McCullough had a good outing, ERA down to 2.08 now.
Gene Honda Civic
Looks like somebody was a bit nervous. First four batters were terrible, but he pitched reasonably well after that.
Heads22
KMac and Cassel were on the freakin mark. 9 IP, 4 H, 12 K.
dasox24
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 21, 2006 -> 03:34 AM) KMac and Cassel were on the freakin mark. 9 IP, 4 H, 12 K. Cassel really excites me. I think he's a big time sleeper in the organization. He's got some filthy stuff and great credentials dating back to high school. He's going to surprise a lot of people for being a 7th rounder. I also believe he'll be in a starters role next season.

He get traded or released? Harrel seemed to calm down a bit after a rough first two innings in AA. He's one of the younger guys in the league and the youngest on the team (IIRC) so I'm not too concerned. This is a guy who has really impressive sinking movement and a pretty darn good arm. Yeah there's a couple of guys doing well in rookie ball pitching wise like Cassell to definitely keep an eye on. Ramon Sanchez who's won 5 of his starts was another that caught me eye, but then I saw he's 23.

He's always been the youngest (or one of the youngest) on his on his team everywhere he's been, from Bristol to Kanny to Winston-Salem to Bham. Find out that sort of info and much, much more on Monday in our interview with the man, himself, Lucas Harrell.

I think Alex mentioned it a few weeks back. Got an oppurtunity with San Diego too if he can pitch well, they go through a few bullpen guys there. I'll be noticing that a guy is doing really well, and then I finally go see how old he is, and he's like way older than he should be for being in the league he is. Btw, he refered to himself as "Luke" when I answered the phone, so I wonder if he would spell that "Luke" or "Luc"? I mean, his first name is "Lucas." Guest JimH
The recap mentions Boone Logan with another good outing, and it was, scoreless inning with his ERA down to 3.65 now. As jittery as he was in Chicago, he has settled in nicely for the Knights. He's now either something to be excited about for the future ... or definite trade bait

As jittery as he was in Chicago, he has settled in nicely for the Knights. He's now either something to be excited about for the future ... or definite trade bait Considering the lack of lefty relievers in our system (since Fabio Castro ain't coming back), I think they'll hang onto Logan, and he'll try to win a job on the team out of ST next season. It's good to see him doing a lot better now though. Going from rookie ball to pro ball was a hell of a jump, let alone AAA ball which is a big step up in class as well. He's definitely on a power surge though as of now, homers coming in bunches.
