samclemens
i dont see how making feeding the homeless in parks helps the city, its residents, or the homeless.
Gregory Pratt
QUOTE(samclemens @ Jul 21, 2006 -> 02:41 PM) i dont see how making feeding the homeless in parks helps the city, its residents, or the homeless. Maybe then the homeless will starve and die, then they can be buried and go away?

I don't know, I tend to see value in people eating food once in a while.
Gregory Pratt
Now that I think about it, I might've misread what he said, since it's not exactly a complete sentence. For what it's worth, I read it as: "I don't see how making it illegal to feed the homeless" but perhaps that's giving him credit he doesn't want (deserve?). mr_genius
The city of Las Vegas has no right to tell people who they can or can't buy lunch for.

santo=dorf
QUOTE(samclemens @ Jul 21, 2006 -> 02:41 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i dont see how making feeding the homeless in parks helps the city, its residents, or the homeless. Maybe people don't want to see barebone dead bodies in the streets. I'm sure there will be more homeless people trying to shoplift food from grocery stores as well. It is still legal to give the homeless some money? What if they plan on using it to buy food?
