santo=dorf
WOW. Son of a beach. I thought we were going to get out of this for sure. Ozzie, please start living up to your about Vazquez and pulling him before the big inning. That's Cotts' 7 HR allowed this year. Last year he allowed one in a blowout during a Scrubs-Sox game. chisoxfan79
QUOTE(Sox It To Em @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 02:03 AM) We will not be making the playoffs this year. agreed
Chisoxfn
Definately rough past two starts for Javy. We are in golden position and than all of a sudden gone. Its too bad the offense couldn't have come through thus far and man it hurts to be a Sox fan. Maybe they''ll make something happen.
Jordan4life_2007
I've been one of the more optimistic posters of late. But I must say, for the first time all year, I think we're in serious danger of missing the playoffs.
Melissa1334
QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 09:04 PM) Game over....man this is getting insane. we got sandy and macdougal, everything will be ok. >this is just b.s. man. just terrible manaaging really. javy should never have pitched to justin and never been out in the 7th. Guest JimH
Nice 3-1 big fat "hit me" pitch by Cotts there. This is why Minnesota has been winning and the Sox haven't lately, they execute when they have opportunities. Sox don't, on either side of the ball ... either bad pitches or failure to come thru with the clutch hit.
The Ginger Kid
an ass kicking at the hands of the twins. It really doesn't get much worse for me personally.
southsideirish71
Mabye if the team would try and hit singles and doubles when they see a soft tosser instead of getitng goofy and thinking they can jack homers on every single pitch we wouldnt see the popup patrol coming through. But after the allstar break year in and year out they get homer foolish and our offense goes into the spiffter.

WHarris1
3-1 count, 1st base open, 1 run game, 2 outs, one of the best hitters in the game at the dish. You would think you walk him right...
santo=dorf
QUOTE(rudylaw @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 09:05 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Neal has allowed every inherited runner to score lately. We have no business playing in the post season this year. We suck. There is no disputing that fact. Well technically Neal didn't allow Tyner to score.
