CYGarland
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 07:11 PM) Only problem is Bmac wouldn't be ready to start until September; late August at the earliest. southsideirish71
Well everyone including the media has been harping on the fact that the 3rd time through the lineup, Vazquez gets rocked. With that knowledge in hand, he continues to march him out over and over and over after the 6th inning. And the same broken record of disaster happens. Its a pattern. To everyone but to Ozzie. Maybe he needs some tums to get his gut back on the right track, because common sense is killing him. We were on a way to a win, and then poof Vazimplosion. Flash Tizzle
This is becoming utterly pathetic. I believe we should all come to the realization 7.5 games is quite the feat to overcome. If we're entering the playoffs, it's from the Wild Card; and it sure as hell won't occur with the starting rotation performing as it has been. Williams needs to shift his stance of not trading anyone on the current roster and unload Garcia. Receive a fair package (can't ask for too much, god forbid; he's not MacDougal), ease McCarthy into the rotation. I don't believe there's any question as this team currently stands it's not going anywhere. If trading Garcia and working McCarthy into the rotation doesn't work, well, what's occuring right now isn't doing much either. Have to try another strategy. Frankensteiner
It's pretty funny how so many said the Tigers would fade and the opposite has happened. 3-10 against these good AL teams. That's not really a slump anymore, it's indicative of the team's true quality. KW needs to work his magic, get Vazquez off the team, or at least send a memo to Ozzie to pull him after 5/6 innings.
