elrockinMT
You don't see a lot from Glover, White or Sanders unless the game is a blow out against us. They seem to be more mop up guys in JM's arsenal. That's not good for a young guy who in fairness should be in Charlotte getting some work and developing. Of course White is another story, but in the last 4 innings he has given up only 1 run instead of 4 runs in one inning. I think for the most part we have had quality starts meaning that Wunsch, Marte and Koch get the work. It would seem to me that maybe one of those extra relievers should go and we bring up a position player.
MurcieOne
Is he just getting progressively worse or is he just rotting away from nonuse in the pen? I think that it's him getting wasted in the pen. Alot of these guys havent pitched much lately it seems like to me. Koch/Marte/Gordon/Wunsch are the only ones i ever see.

JTC2784
GG is a classic mop up guy He was stellar last year until they put him in the rotation... Just give him regular BP work and I think he'll be fine.
Molto
Glover has to pitch more. he can't pitch once a week and do fine. he was good in the early going, but then JM slowly cut down his appearances
BrandoFan
Glover has to pitch more. he can't pitch once a week and do fine. he was good in the early going, but then JM slowly cut down his appearances When Glover first came up in 2001, this is what he brought to the table: -Fastball 93-95mph, with movement, plus a servieable sinker. -Huge, unhittable near 12-6 curve -Solid slider -Good control for a tall youngster, poise and the ability to pitch out of trouble which can't be taught. After Nardi worked him over for almost 2 years and after JM decided to use him as a starter, this is the new Gary: -Fastball 89-91, straight, no sinker -Curveball merely ok -Slider also ok, underused, like curve no longer an out pitch -Anti-clutch: allows inhereited runs to score EVERY time he comes in -Scared puppy look Thanks Sox for turning a real steal into a nootered AAAA'er. I can bet you anything if Sox trade Glove to a team with real pitching coach, he will be better than Biddle. He's healthy too.

We all agree that three mop up guys seems to be one or two too many. I think a position player would be better. A middle infielder, or one who can play like Graffy does, would seem to fit in nicely. 1549
I say we ship him to the Yankees for a minor leaguer
1549
the yankees will take any reliever with an arm that isn't in a cast, and that has big league experience... we won't get much, but it is better than letting him rot
