They don't look like it, they don't play like it, and I'm not sure they have sufficient hunger for it. I know they won't always play this badly, but I don't see this team putting together the kind of runs it would take to overcome a 7.5 game deficit or hold off the Yankees and Twins for the wildcard. No team slumping ever looks like a playoff team. However, the Twins winning 33 out of 41 games, and having dominance in 40 pct of their games starting for them looks like the team to beat for the Wild Card. Everyone talks about how we went through the same slump last year, but at least at the time of our slump we had a 10 game cushion in first place, this year, at the time of our slump we were in second place. X pitcher threw a couple of bad pitches(which were deposited over the fence with men on). He pitched great except for the one inning.
