Hermanson32
QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 08:27 AM) great maybe we can avoid another sweep. I bet thats what Royals fan say alot too. Sad that it has come to that, but if we can win this game it is huge. The worst part of these losing ways is that Mark has been so off.

LosMediasBlancas
my broken record prediction will come true for the 15th time this year: At some point today, probably within the first three innings, the Sox will take the lead and Mark will give it RIGHT back at the top of the next inning, book it. aboz56
The winds are about to change folks. Vintage Buehrle sweeps through US Cellular much to Sox fans delight. Silva gives up a few bombs. Tension is gone for a day. White Sox winner. 7-2. Book it.
LosMediasBlancas
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 09:42 AM) The winds are about to change folks. Vintage Buehrle sweeps through US Cellular much to Sox fans delight. Silva gives up a few bombs. Tension is gone for a day. White Sox winner. 7-2. Book it. I'll trade a few bombs for a well balanced, smart ball offensive attack that produces the 7 runs you're predicting.
southsideirish71
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 26, 2006 -> 10:38 AM) I'll trade a few bombs for a well balanced, smart ball offensive attack that produces the 7 runs you're predicting. Its the annual whitesox corpseball offense power show. The weather gets hot, our hitters take a look at the short porch and try and park every pitch. Then after 7 innings we look back at 4 hits, a ton of popups, maybe some warning track shots, and we lose. I will give anything for some line drive cuts, some nice gappers. But alas we are now into year 5 of watching us take the pipe in the second half. The only thing that was going for us is we had a 15 game lead. We just blew a 7 game lead in the WC in 2 weeks. Balta1701
Podsednik, LF Cintron, 2b Thome, DH Konerko, 1B Dye, RF Pierzynski, C Crede, 3b Mackowiak, CF Uribe, SS I flippin hate this lineup. Anderson is 3/5 against Silva with a dong this season. Iguchi is 3/5 against him. Cintron is 0/4. Mack is 1/2. Castillo, 2b Punto, 3b Redmond, C Cuddyer, RF Morneau, 1B White, LF Rabe, DH Tyner, CF Bartlett, SS Edited July 26, 2006 by Balta1701
fathom
Interesting....Iguchi bats .335 vs rhp, and .215 vs lhp. Cintron bats .46 pts higher against lhp than he does rhp. So, it makes sense to not play Cintron against a lefty, and bench Iguchi today.
