RME JICO
First-round draft pick Kyle McCulloch earned the first victory of his professional career as the Great Falls White Sox blanked the Missoula Osprey 5-0 in a Pioneer League baseball game. McCulloch struck out 10 in five dominant innings and Michael Grace homered as the White Sox, winning by shutout for the first time this year, ended a three-game losing streak before 2,285 appreciative fans at Centene Stadium. It was certainly an outstanding night for McCulloch, the former Texas Longhorn star. The 6 foot-3, 185-pounder had made five pro appearances prior to Tuesday, but without a victory. While he was posting zeroes against the Osprey, his teammates provided just enough offense to secure a victory. McCulloch threw 79 pitches in his five-inning stint. Congrats to Kyle for his first pro victory!
