HuskyCaucasian
When I was in Junior High (I am now 22), I had a dream to become a stadium architect. We'll I downloaded Google Sketchup and messed around with it. Thought I would try building one of my ideas. Once I got it into Sketchup I had to make a few changes. I wanted to get your thoughts. It's a cross between Old tiger stadium, Fenway, Comiskey, The Jake, amongst others. I have yet to add the upper level. A few notes on the stadium: Left field wall is 15' tall with a 20' tall scoreboard. In left center, the blue area is windows for a field level resteraunt. The gray area behind the left field wall is a huge party deck. Right fields updeck over hangs by 10' (much like old tiger stadium). Dimensions: LF- 360 Left Center - 360 Center- 400 Right Center- 370 RF- 325 Edited July 30, 2006 by Athomeboy_2000

WCSox
360 down the left-field line with a 15' wall??? No marquee left-handed hitter will want to play there. Otherwise, it's pretty nice. A bit angular, but nice. Edited July 29, 2006 by WCSox
Drew
QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jul 27, 2006 -> 08:48 PM) A few notes on the stadium: Left field wall is 15" tall with a 20" tall scoreboard. Looks like fun, but two hashmarks mean inches. Anyone else read this and think of the Stonehenge scene in Spinal Tap?

SoxFanForever
I think you need blue seats instead of green to start off...
Jake
A non-home run hitter would love to play in this park. A lot of ground for outfielders to cover = extra base hits and singles.

I had the same dream as you, If i was bored, i would draw out stadium plans all the time. I saved some of my good ones. Thanks for showing this to me so i can get back to my dream. Try adding some windows to the final product. The outside looks bare, and is there any way to show us an angle from the outfield looking in? sayitaintso
I like it, but IMO I would add something behind the leftfield and centerfield fences, it just looks empty. Nice work though!
Shamrock4Life
it looks alot like ameriquest field to me, escept for the angular outfield wall of course.
