We shouldn't even be there. Its great to have talent, but when you can't win more than a game every turn in the rotation you don't deserve to be in the top 10.

Don't Fret!

Jon is pitching again tomorrow!

Before the ASB. Man, that seems like six months ago.

At this point in time, Power Ranking should be oblivious to our Sox team. Let's get back our sterling starter pitching, then we'll talk!

I don't want to get it to that point again. I think it would be huge for Freddy to go out and have another quality start and get this team its first non Garland win since the Break, than let Jon give us our first winning streak of the break :D

Gotta get on a streak of one.

They just have to think of it like getting on a streak of one every single day.

Then all 1000 statisticians at SoxTalk can put all the 1 streaks together and talk about the winning streaks.

Power Rankings aren't based off the season, it's based on their recent performance.

With that said, how in the heck are they ranked 6?

I would say it's a mixture of the two, with the most emphasis placed on recent performance. But you also can't lose 20 spots or even 10 in one week as so many seem to be calling for. It's not a fair analysis.

"Josh Beckett tops the majors in most home runs allowed (28), and is also sporting an ugly 6.17 ERA in 12 road starts."

and he is supposed to be a top pitcher in the AL. He sounds like the anti-Garcia.

But the power ranking have to do with how a team is playing and how it is capable of playing. but i still think that in this present moment the white sox are overrated.

Since the Sox are the Sox, they want to be in a position where if we go on a tear this week they don't look like reactionary idiots. We at SoxTalk don't care if we look that way. :P :bang
