They will have to grind this out. That's what it will take. If the White Sox get it together, start winning, and get on a roll, they can get into the playoffs. It really all depends on these players. And frankly, we have not seen a good display by many of them today. Not to be overly critical but it's time for some of these guys to show up more consistently. There are lots of little things going wrong. Witness that MacDougal pitch that let in a run. Yes, a tough pitch to handle. However would it have been too much to ask for Pierzynski to get his glove in the right spot and not try to backhand it? Just one example from today, there are many others.
