CubKilla
FSN subjects us to the dulcid tones of our dumbf*** manager after the 9th inning shelling. Even though I don't put this loss on him, I'm getting f***ing sick and tired of seeing his dead f***ing ass in a White Sox uniform. This waste of bench space should have been gone, in my opinion, in the 3rd week of April. :fyou Jerry Manuel

DonkeyKongerko
This one hurt to watch in person. Big crowd, lots of fans and a good game. Bartolo is just cruising. I think what hurts the worst is that I can't really blame anyone for the loss. Colon did not show any signs of being tired and 100 pitch count is easy for him. I think he totally just lost focus after the Bonds homer and probably should have been yanked right after it. Would that have saved us the game? I don't know but it might have. I'm pretty sure you are the one who made the comparison to the Yankee series last year....fully agreed. I figure we'll go DEAD for the next two weeks or so. greg775
Tough tough loss. But it's simple, right? A good team beat a bad team tonight.
Pastime
It's official. According to a Cook County judge, Jerry Manuel has legally changed his name to Jerry Manuellllllllllllllllll. How fitting.
SI1020
This is the worst Sox loss of the year. Think of it. They were about to take two of three from the Giants after taking two out of three from the Dodgers. Slow steady progress. Something to build on with the Padres coming in to town next. Instead this. HSC is right, another season down the toilet. This franchise can't afford this kind of futility right now. I'm older, have been through this before and should know better and use better words but right now I'm very

Texsox
Ituned in as Bonds was circling the bases and my first reaction was what the f*** is Colon out there for? Who's brain dead decision was that :fyou . When I heard the pitch count was under 100 I understood. But stop right there. Call the pen after the homer. Koch has been pitching well enough of late that JM should have had enough confidence in him to close out the 9th and see if we could win this in the bottom of the 9th. If he didn;t want to go to Koch then DM or KW. Still I would have pulled him much sooner.

If he didn;t want to go to Koch then DM or KW. Still I would have pulled him much sooner. The problem was that he didn't have anyone warming up in the 'pen 'til after the homer. If I were JM, I wouldn't have IBB'd Alfonzo; I would have just brought Marte in right there and then to face Alfonzo. Even though he's a righty, JM probably shoulda known that Alou had Aurilia on the bench available to PH. Pitch to Alfonzo and his .214 average. Hell, Alfonzo was 0-for-3. Maybe they would have PH for him instead of for Bernard. Pitch around Aurilia with 1B open. Though there are a million and one things that could have happened, I think more good could have come out of it than what actually happened had JM brought in Marte to face Alfonzo. Harry Chappas
It would have been easier to explain walking one of the greatest hitters of all time and then lossing as oppossed to the situation as it unfolded. Like Sparky Anderson used to say, "You do everything in your power to not let their best player beat you." If we were winning you can risk losing this game but we need every victory. Do you think Jerry 'the genius' saw Tuesday and Wednesday as well as what the Angels did in the World Series. That was Barry Bonds that beat us, not the guy that hit the grand slam Wednesday. My point if Santiago hits a three run homer you cringe and tip your hat. This s*** needs to go ASAP but nobody is running this team right now so I give up, f*** this team, they don't care so how can I. I hate in this order, JM, JR, Paul Konerko, Buerhle (just becasue we are losing I actually still like him but I am bitter that he called me stupid.) :fyou :fyou :fyou :fyou
CubKilla
The problem was that he didn't have anyone warming up in the 'pen 'til after the homer. Exactly. Only a dumbf*** would not have anyone warming up in the bottom of the 8th with only a 2-run lead. I don't care how dominating Colon was up to that point. JM is a f***ing asshole. The only thing this dickhead has yet to do is pull a pitcher with no one warming up..... ala The Bev.

JUGGERNAUT
After last night's terrible demise .. I can barely bring myself to post PTC's let alone post. It's better not to think about the WHITESOX right now. The team is so bad I'm not even sure if I could place the blame for last night on JM's head. Sure I can say, he should have pulled Colon in the 8th. But I can't say the same would have happened with any one else pitching.
