RockRaines
QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 09:33 PM) Would you rather have Ortiz or Pujols at the plate in that situation? Ortiz hands down. He is the most clutch hitter in baseball by far.
CYGarland
QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 07:35 PM) Ha. Take off your Red Sox hatred goggles. Laughable. Pujols is a better overall hitter, but thats no knock against Ortiz, he comes in a close 2nd for me. As for 3rd, i would have to go with our boy Dye. CYGarland
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 07:39 PM) Who has the most walk offs? Dont forget, that Ortiz has Manny hitting behind him. Not too bad for protection. Rolen and Edmonds have been not as good as usual for about a year now. Edited August 1, 2006 by CYGarland

Felix
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 10:41 PM) I believe 8 of those Hr's are walk offs for ortiz, are they for Pujols as well? Prove it. Pujols is hitting better with RISP, RISP/2 outs, close and late, runners on, and nearly every other situation such as that. I would take Pujols over Ortiz easily (which isn't saying Ortiz is bad, he's VERY good, but he's no Pujols)
