whitesoxfan101
He suffered the injury as a passenger in a car accident. Talk about back luck.
Chisoxfn
The Baseball Tonight guys are saying its not official that he would be done for the year. Apparently he was the passenger in a car accident.
Milkman delivers
The Mets don't have good luck in cars. Didn't Glavine get a bunch of his teeth busted out when the taxi he was in got into an accident?
Phuck the Cubs
The Mets don't have good luck in cars. Didn't Glavine get a bunch of his teeth busted out when the taxi he was in got into an accident? Yup/.
GoodAsGould
If he can get back in time for the playoffs... Sanchez, Heilman, Hernandez, Linebrek, and Wagner will be a pretty damn good bullpen for them.
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 06:23 PM) If he can get back in time for the playoffs... Sanchez, Heilman, Hernandez, Linebrek, and Wagner will be a pretty damn good bullpen for them. From Rotoworld: Scott Linebrink wasn't traded to the Mets or any other team prior to Monday's deadline. The rumored deal of Oliver Perez and Heath Bell for Linebrink likely was discussed, but it wasn't finalized. Linebrink will stay with the Padres as a setup man. There's no way he'll go in a waiver deal. Looks like Linebrink isn't going anywhere. I went to a Padres Board and multiple posters said Linebrink is staying. southsider2k5
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 02:30 PM) The Mets don't have good luck in cars. Didn't Glavine get a bunch of his teeth busted out when the taxi he was in got into an accident? Step #1. Avoid all cab drivers in metropolitian cities. DBAHO
Terrible luck for them. Hoepfully for their sake he'll be back pitching for them in the playoffs.
