fathom
Our guys seem to keep getting banged up when they slide. I hope they're ok. Dye got some amazing pitches to hit.
Guest JimH
Those sound like quite the collector's item. Real nice. Nice stolen base there, they need to do more of that. I've got a bunch of wrestling show tickets from all sorts of defunct Chicago venues ... Coliseum, Marigold Arena, Amphitheatre, etc.

Dick Allen
Good to get Buerhle out. He gets a good start in his mind. Its hot and a meltdown this inning could have destroyed all the confidence he may have gained tonight.

Frankensteiner
I like taking out Buehrle here. He was cruising and only threw 93 pitches, but he'll leave with a ton of confidence and without risk of anything bad happening. Plus the bullpen is rested from yesterday. Yep, you know I like the idea of bringing in the reliever to start the inning (especially against some righty power hitters here). QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Aug 2, 2006 -> 02:05 AM) They let you keep the front row chairs, they're big bucks, so better get something. I didn't have to pay, but those seats are 750 dollars. Dick Allen
Its started off like Buerhle was going to get hammered again tonight, but he really picked it up. Another start like tonight and he may be back to normal.
