JERMAINEDYE4MVP Posted August 1, 2006 Share Posted August 1, 2006 Put Mark Buehrle on DL for 15 days and give him some rest, for those 15 days insert Brandon McCarthy in the rotation. Then when Buehrle come's back, put Garcia on the 15 day DL and insert B-McC in. This way we can give some much needed rest to both Beurhle and Garcia. What do you guys think? I think its not a bad idea to shake things up, but I don't know whether the pitchers would realistically just accept going on the DL unless they really were worn down. Plus I do think that its hard to get Brandon out there considering it would take some time for him to build his stamina. It may not be a bad idea though and I think that if we knew he could go out and do what he did last year in our rotation, it would be a no brainer to get him in the rotation.
