Jake
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 09:36 PM) (35-13) Let's finish this. The White Sox have been sighted.
Gregory Pratt
Freddy'd better be able to beat down on the Royals. I know he has a reputation for pitching down to the competition, but at this point, he doesn't have the stuff to pitch down to anyone. As far as I'm concerned, he's a Royal, and he's gotta take them serious. Just keep us in the game, Garcia. The offense will follow. I especially hope to see Thome and/or Konerko in the game. Better safe than sorry -- better ready sooner than later!

Gregory Pratt
Let's hope that Freddy doesn't think we're his wife and he's Lex Luger. That might not turn out well. He'd better come out doing his best Hulk Hogan impersonation.

NUKE_CLEVELAND
I think Freddy's more likely to give up 15 runs than to fan 15 but lets hope he can keep us in the game.

GreatScott82
I think i'm one of the few guys who still has confidence in Freddy. Yeah his velocity is down, but he hasn't been the worst of our pitchers. Freddy has kept the Sox in games more than any of our other struggling pitchers and his last few starts have been decent. You heard it here, Freddy WILL be back! Haha that sounds like a Nightmare On Elm Street title. Go Sox! Lets finish this thing. My goal was 5 of 6 on this Oriole-Royal trip and im sticking to it! Jordan4life_2007
We need to win this game. Forget that 2 out of 3 junk. We need to sweep. We've gotten back-to-back solid starts from Contreras and Buehrle. It's your turn, Freddy!
SoxAce
QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 11:20 PM) I think i'm one of the few guys who still has confidence in Freddy. If you think that's bad, I'm probably one of, if not the only one, still backing Vazquez. I'll back anyone on this team not named Pollite (who is gone) I even backed The Widge when he was here on more than one occasions.

Shamrock4Life
If both Paulie and Thome are no goes for this game who do we DH? What is our line-up going to look like? How about: Ozuna - DH Iguchi - 2B Dye - RF Crede - 3B (he owns the Royals, esp. at the K) AJ - C Mack - LF Gload - 1B Uribe/Cintron - SS Anderson - CF or if we want to get crazy... Ozuna - LF Cintron - 2B Dye - RF Crede - 3B AJ - C Iguchi - DH Gload - 1B Uribe - SS Anderson - CF I know Pods will more than likely be in left but I like those two line-ups if Thome and Konerko are out. Capn12
If Thome and Kong are both out today.... egads. No Thome or Konerko + Flamethrower Freddy on the bump + going for a sweep... I'm scared mommy

DBAHO
Ok the lowdown on Freddy for tonight. Has a 4.40 ERA in night games, but 5.49 ERA in away games, which is suprising for him. He's actually given up 5 more longballs on the road from 3 less game started compared to at home. So he's gotta keep the ball in the yard basically to have success. Hasn't pitched against the Royals this season so far.
LosMediasBlancas
b..b...b...but Ross Gload sux and has no business on this team. We give the guy 3 ABs per year, what more does he want About tonight, Freddy is gonna step up. Edited August 2, 2006 by LosMediasBlancas
