That pitch was actually closer to being a strike than the one he got called out on. There are very very few major league hitters who are gonna do different than Mackowiak did in that situation, take a bad pitch for a ball, no I mean strike I guess. If you agree the umpire called it wrong, then how can you blame the hitter, it is nigh impossible to adjust to Bucknor's strike zone. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
