fathom
One of the best wins of the season. Garland made one dumb pitch the whole game. I appreciate what Gload did in the last week, but it's nice to have our 3-4-5 dynasty back.
Greg The Bull Luzinski
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Aug 4, 2006 -> 08:56 PM) Ross Gload SB! Leading off and playing LF, Ross Gload.
Frankensteiner
Great fishing win tonight. We beat a good team with one of the league's best pitchers. Garland settled down, too. Doesn't get any better than that. We just need Thome to stay healthy.
brijames
Looks like the fing Tigers are gonna win again going ahead in the bottom of the 8th. Fing Indians pitching is beyond terrible. Tigers are having an absolutely charmed season.
Balta1701
A decent game by Javy and the bullpen tomorrow, and we're looking at what, a 6-7 game losing skid by Torotno? You know they don't want to face Jose looking at the sweep Nice comeback after the first JG, AJ, Thome, PK, Dye, Pods, great job (even if all some of you did was take walks) And the best news of all? Mack doesn't have to play CF any more this series! And hopefully his 0/4 with 3 k's will cost him a few more CF starts! Sonik22
QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 4, 2006 -> 08:58 PM) One of the best wins of the season. Garland made one dumb pitch the whole game. GreatScott82
Impressive win tonite. Thats White Sox baseball! We beat a Cy Young pitcher. We came back from a 3-0 defecit, Garland was awesome tonite, the Thome-Pauly-Dye triad came up big tonite, and AJ came up HUGE! Great game! Keep it going! It looks like Boston, New York and Detroit all won tonite. But as long as we keep winning, things will take care of themselves.
SoxAce
Garland with another quality start. I'm sure he doesn't like his era right now but he'll sure as hell take that record he's sportin.

GoodAsGould
Why do the Royals have Burgos closing? Sure he has some great stuff but he has sucked in the bullpen and putting him in a closing role is only making it worse.....
greg775
Tonight's win was reminiscent of our World Series team. Good starting pitching, excellent relief, good clutch hitting, manning up to come from behind on the road. As far as the Twins, just assume they are going to win all 4 this weekend, because they are. Only our sox fail to complete the sweep against KC out of the teams Chi, Minn and Det.
