Greg The Bull Luzinski
Did Shoenweiss ever have a 1-2-3 inning when he was with the Sox? Of course, he never had a one pitch at bat form Scott Pods to make it easier. Pods makes me ill.

Greg The Bull Luzinski
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 02:00 PM) With him losing his only talent which is speed, he will go from world series hero to 4th OF in say 2 years. I would have liked to have seen it happed last week. On another note, why can't Jerry Owens be good?

ecoyne
thanks thome, unless things progress next inning, we are going to have cintron-mack-anderson facing BJ. Yes, they have got to him before, but something tells me thats not going to be happening today.

TitoMB345
Haha, so much for the "taking them out when they need to come out" logic. Ozzie played us good in that interview.

Greg The Bull Luzinski
If Pierre leaves Chicago, maybe we can get the Cubs to take Pods next year. The cubs absolutely love players that have already had their own good year and are ready to ride off into the sunset with a few more big pay days. southsideirish71
We are into the 7th inning. Now we have the ultimate battle, Ozzie trying to get a win for his pitcher over Ozzie trying to get a win for the team.

fathom
QUOTE(CYGarland @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 07:04 PM) Hawk's really butchering some names today For as good as Hawk/DJ have been recently, they've been real bad today. Hawk's been slupring this team more than usual today (Cooper, Pods).

It's the best in the league in runs scored... Don't you get it? The team isn't in first place, so the offense is just imaginary. It's all Pods' fault that the offense is only first in the league... and Uribe's too!

It's the best in the league in runs scored... By real, I mean with a leadoff guy that can get on base. Seriously, think of how many MORE runs scored we'd have if Podsednik had an OBP of around .400 (hell, even .375) like a good leadoff guy. QUOTE(Felix @ Aug 6, 2006 -> 02:06 PM) Don't you get it?
