fathom
QUOTE(Wanne @ Aug 9, 2006 -> 02:39 AM) Seriously. The dude just looks lazy back there this year. I guess our game plan is just to throw ARod fastballs on the outside corner.
stretchstretch
this so speaks the the story of why we've fallen so hard the 2nd half. If you're going to bring a guy in to face two batters(thorton) you cannot cannot cannot cannot walk one of them, especially with the lineup behind them

The Ginger Kid
I'm sitting in an office in LA and at the bar next door a Journey knock-off band is blaring. Is this a sign?

TitoMB345
Full count, and a weak popout. I still put most of the blame on the offense here.

TitoMB345
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Aug 8, 2006 -> 09:49 PM) Ortiz hits #41. 5-4 Royals. Story of our/their lives. We blow another one, our opponents don't, and we fall behind, again. Good luck Sox, I'm heading out. I don't want to watch the 9th. QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 8, 2006 -> 09:49 PM) He's amazing. Good luck Sox, I'm heading out. I don't want to watch the 9th. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. Cotts should only be used in mop-up duty now. He's going to give the Yanks an insurance run here. Coop's really done an amazing job with some of these guys this season.

Brian
When was the last time Neal got a lefty out? I seriously can't remember. Either his last outing or the one before, he faced 4 guys, 2 lefties and 2 righties. The two lefties got hit and he easily retired the righties. Allsox
If the score holds, Mack's 1st inning error and subsequent double play ball in the 2nd will be to blame, not that Ozzie doesn't deserve 99.9% for starting him in the first place.
bulokis
QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Aug 8, 2006 -> 09:50 PM) Story of our/their lives. We blow another one, our opponents don't, and we fall behind, again. Good luck Sox, I'm heading out. I don't want to watch the 9th. Easily, the AL MVP. No matter what happens the rest of the year. 9th inning, Rivera = win for the Yanks. We just find a way to lose each games. Everyday we find to lose games, a lot different than last year. People at the Cell need to show their angst after dropping another one in our home field.
