whitesoxfan101
Nice inning for Boone.....did Young react well to that strikeout though? Him and his brother aren't very nice.
Friend of Nordhagen
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Aug 10, 2006 -> 09:55 PM) Well that sucks. Although, I just thought of the idea for a Boone Logan, Mike Ditka, Chuck Norris every man for himself wrestling match inside a cage. That would be pretty nifty. Logan's size 16 feet might prove the difference. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 10, 2006 -> 09:55 PM) We have to lead the league in taken third strikes. whitesoxfan101
The thing that pisses me off is with the way they are playing in the field, if Cintron puts the ball in play, it probably would have been thrown into the stands or something anyways to help us out. Felix
QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 10, 2006 -> 11:01 PM) What did they say? Something along the lines of "Last year, Don Cooper was the hot item. Everyone wanted to sign him, etc. This year, all the starters, with exception of Contreras, are all significantly worse than last year." They went on to talk about the workload and about how the pitchers just might not be the same because of the amount of work they've had. I don't know if people saw it, but he literally swung after the catcher had the ball.

whitesoxfan101
I have a hard time going against Coop after he came out to the mound in Minnesota and Buehrle threw that triple play on the next pitch. It takes a revolutionary thinker to go out there, tell your pitcher to throw a triple play ball, and see it get done on the 1st pitch. Way to whiff Jeter, Javy. Nice pitch.
