santo=dorf
Hey, it could be worse. Imagine how Yankee fans are reacting. "YO Luigi! Didn't we have this Vazquez bum on da Yankeeeees?" "Mario, we ain't getting no runs. Now go downstairs and grab a box of rigatoni while I watch MOOOOOOSE pitch the bottum of the 4th"

Friend of Nordhagen
You guys noticing that Hawk and D.J. don't say anything when a replay of a pitch is shown? Maybe they heard the criticism of their constant whining.

Maybe they heard the criticism of their constant whining. Or maybe the Sox are winning. QUOTE(GoRowand33 @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 03:18 AM) that could have been gone based on what giambi's looked like off of the bat Yeah, but Giambi went off the juice last year, Pods went off of it after 2004. southsideirish71
Something in our minor league development needs to change. Every prospect we bring up has the same exact swing flaw. The low and away pitch. Rowand had it, Anderson has it, Borchard had it, Crede had it forever. They all had long looping swings that could be exposed with the low pitch away. And look at Fields, his K rate tells me that pretty much he will be the same way when he comes up. Can we get someone to teach a line drive swing in the minors, and then adjust to the power stroke once they figure out how to make consistant contact. The only one that I think will not be overmatched when he comes up is Sweeney.
