I literally can't remember the last time we had a starter pitch a game this good. i just can't...

Its just great to see it again, I vividly remember these games last year

Vazquez looked pretty damn good last weakend Vs the Blue Jays.

71 pitches for Jose through 7 innings. That's the best pace I've seen from any of our pitchers all year.

does anyone have ball stike totals? his control seems much better than the first two innings or so

Guillen's always been one of the biggest Sox killers. He never seems to have a bad AB against us.

i couldn't agree more, i think Granderson is not a "sox killer" yet but hes incredibly scrappy against us.

Wasn't nearly this efficient.

Yes, but with Vazquez's style, for him to go 8 innings after striking out 13 is damn good. If he would have K'd 13 guys last night, he would have thrown 200 pitches.

Also, Vazquez was going up against a much better offensive team.

Blue Jays vs Tigers? I'd take this Tigers offense right now. The Blue Jays have a high batting average, but they have some easier outs in their lineup than the Tigers.
