He named the 89 A's, the 99 Yanks, and the 05 Sox only behind the 98 Yanks as the most dominant teams in the last 25 years. 11-1 in the postseason pretty much seals this for us. That being said when you win 99 games, go 11 and 1 in the postseason and have the dominating pitching that we did, then you definitely belong in the discussion. My list: 1. 1998 Yankees (125-50 including October, enough said) 2. 1984 Tigers 3. 2005 White Sox 4. 1990 Reds 5. I thought the '93 and '94 White Sox teams were better and more talented than last year's Sox team. Last year's Sox team didn't beat any team as good as the '93 team, imo. Probably hands down the best team ever. I'm just gonna post the roster and leave it to others to identify which team featured this absolutely rediculous lineup: Staff Ace: Roger Clemens Catcher: Mike Scoiscia First Base: Don "shave those sideburns" Mattingly Second Base: Steve Sax Third Base: Wade Boggs Shortstop: Ozzie Smith Left Field: Jose Canseco Center Field: Ken Griffey Junior Right Field: Daryl Strawberry By the way, I say england's great prime minster was Lord Palmerston...
