NorthSideSox72
For those of you with 27 game plans, if you go to your Whitesox.com account and click through to the invoice for postseason tickets, it shows your seat locations for any theoretical postseason games. I Thought people might want to know. Ours are less than spectacular, but hey - at least we get to go, for face value! All 3 ALDS, 1 ALCS and 1 WS, if played. I assume that full season holders get their usual seats. I am not sure how Ozzie Plans (13 games) work.

SoxPride56
The Ozzie game plan goes like this: either you get 1 ALDS game or 2 ALCS games.

SoxPride56
There was no typo. I thought that was wierd as well, and called my ticket rep, and she said it was one ALDS or two ALCS games.
BFirebird
Yup it is no typo. I had the same choice as well...ALCS is the obvious choice.
Balance
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 11:44 AM) I just took a look, and we have WAYYY better seats for the World Series than ALCS....... BTW, are the invoices really due the 31st? That kinda jumped up on me.... I was surprised, too. I haven't received anything in the mail yet, either. quickman
QUOTE(GoRowand33 @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 05:39 PM) lets make it to the post season before worrying about tickets thats the point you can't the money is due in two weeks. There you go
quickman
here is another rub to this at least for full season ticket holders. If the sox don't get in or if there is money left over due to a sox early exit the money is applied to next years season tickets. If you choose to get your money back instead of applying it, then your seats go up for grabs automatically and given to the next person on the list. So other than people complaining which I am not, this virtually guarantees a sold out next season.
quickman
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 09:36 PM) I was suprised as well. Isnt the price just doubled or something from the regular season? How does it work? it really doesn't matter how it works. You either pay or give up the seats and someone else will pay. part of the deal. Season ticekts are expensive as well. its basically $100 bucks a game if you figure in a parking pass.
Harry Chappas
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Aug 15, 2006 -> 09:36 PM) I was suprised as well. Isnt the price just doubled or something from the regular season? How does it work? $45 for WC $70 for ALCS $140 for WS Thank MLB. You pay for every possible seat and game. I love hitting the bandwagon fans. Note you do not lose the opportunity to purchase your plan next year, you lose your seat location. This hits those that will not renew if they do not make and/or go deep in the playoffs. I like it. I have my seats for every game.
Allsox
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Aug 16, 2006 -> 02:36 AM) I was suprised as well. Isnt the price just doubled or something from the regular season? How does it work? MLB sets the prices for the playoff games but also hog the prime seats for their sponsors during the World Series so the White Sox hafta to get stuff like this going early. RockRaines
Playoff tickets are pricey. I got around this by selling off my ALDS tix and letting them pay for the rest of the playoffs.
Punch and Judy Garland
that is extremely smart on your part I must say.

A friend of a friend reports to Bud Selig himself. She hooked me up at the eleventh hour last year, and this year I've got requests in for 2 of any game at the Cell as well as Dodger Stadium. BigSqwert
Got my invoice in the mail. They included prices for 2007 season tickets. Of course they went up quite a bit. Guess we need to pay for installing the rest of the green seats.
djcollie03
I haven't seen the invoice for next year but, I was surprised by the playoff invoice. The price is similar to last year but, our seats were moved way out and way up in the Upper Deck. Last year our seats were in the same general vicinity - comparable rows/sections even if we were moved to the other side of the field. I guess that's the biggest change with all of the new season tix holders. I'm excited to go again but disappointed with where we'll be sitting.
