chiguy79
Cora sucks big one...everytime he sends someone I now assume they are out. Iguchi was a dead man from the start, as was Konerko when he sent him. He also should have told Konerko to get back to third on the grounder against the Tigers where he got picked off 3rd. Also last friday he sent Cintron who was out on a closer play but he was still out and I think that was with 1 out. I thought Vazquez threw OK, good enough to where if we score pods in the first with a lead-off double and JD catches a routine fly ball we are in or win the game. I wouldn't peg this one on him. We need to start getting on Cora while at the games.

Next thing you know we'll be saying how good he is for only giving up a run per inning.

I've never seen someone who implodes at the same exact spot in the game like he does.

I've never seen someone who implodes at the same exact spot in the game like he does. But he had that stellar game against Toronto, so we'll never hear the end of it. IT SHOWED HIS POTENTIAL! HE'S JUST ABOUT TO TURN IT AROUND

Greg Hibbard
I am on an even enough keel to recognize that if we win the next two games the series is a successful one.
fathom
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 16, 2006 -> 03:44 PM) As a fan who's hoping this team can still do something, do we really have any option other than hoping that will somehow happen? Unless we have a big cushion, just make him a 5 inning pitcher. He's shown no ability to pitch after the 5th inning in a close game for far too long now. We have 2 very capable long relievers in McCarthy and Riske who have done a very good job at keeping us in games. This has become a mental thing with Vazquez. Balance
Well, at least the weather was nice. Last night's result was a huge disappointment, and makes today and tomorrow's games must-wins.
fathom
One more thing....I don't care if he doesn't walk again the rest of the season, but please swing the freaking bat Pods! It's inexcusable to be such an easy out once you get 2 strikes. Someone with his limited tool set should be battling up there. Instead, he takes pitches like he's Barry Bonds. Dan
QUOTE(greg775 @ Aug 16, 2006 -> 02:07 AM) We need a new third base coach with some common sense. I'd vote for Harold Baines if he's still around. I mean c'mon use some common sense, Cora. And yes I realize he's made some good waves home in the past. thats commical.
