danman31
QUOTE(daa84 @ Aug 17, 2006 -> 06:34 PM) dang, hes had incredible numbers with very good peripherals to back them up....interesting prospect...certainly one to keep an eye on, he is 22 years old, so he probably shoulda been to AA by now anyways, but ill be watchin him He's 23. Last year he pitched for Kanny and had average numbers. 3.71 ERA in 36 appearances with 2 starts. 62 K, 32 BB, 84 hits in 80 IP. He's far better in just about every way this year and repeated the dominance at Winston-Salem which puts him on the radar. If he can do well to finish the year at Birmingham he might get a look in Spring Training if the team is desperate for a reliever. I mean if Boone Logan could win a spot out of nowhere, Perez can. That said I don't know anything about him.
