Spiff
It's possible, as long as the starters hold up. monday--buehrle vs pedro, i'd say we're (i say we for the sake of brevity) a longshot to win that game, but anything can happen. tuesday--colon vs burkett, i think this is our best chance to win. burkett has been shaky all year. wednesday--loaiza vs wakefield, we have a good shot to win with e-lo going if he is dominant, but wakefield is awfully tough. thursday--wright vs lowe, who knows what will happen in this game. lowe sucks on the road but if he's on his game we're in trouble. i think it could go either way. I can definately see us taking games 2 and 3(especially if Wakefield's knuckler doesn't knuckle a whole lot). I'll have to see how Pedro pitches....he might have super good stuff, he might just have good stuff....but I don't think it really matters. And I got a funny feeling Lowe's just gonna whack us. He's a sinker-ball, ground-ball pitcher....and we have the slowest team on the face of the earth. What do I feel like that is a bad combination? clujer420
These "don't give up" threads always pop up when we've won 2 in a row, but then it seems like we'll lose 3 of the next 5. A couple of good wins here and there isn't enough to make me a believer yet. Especially since Minnesota keeps racking up the W's, too. I hope the Sox prove me wrong, though! This series has nopthing to do with it. Look how the Sox have played lately..... alot better. Since that last game in Arizona I've been watching a different team IMHO. This is what I said a few days ago and nobody seemed to agree. Or if they did, nobody said so. Slowly but surely, the Sox are righting this ship, and there's still nearly 100 games to gel completely.
