Chisoxrd5
QUOTE(SoxAce @ Aug 20, 2006 -> 12:20 PM) Even though I don't mind Pablo at all being there since he does have good success against santana, but Joe Mauer not in the line-up.... I'm almost always fine with Pablo playing over Pods. But whenever Sandy gets more than one start in every 5 games, that is one start too many. Stacking RH batters against a lefty whose best pitch is a changeup makes very little baseball sense. But I digress..

fathom
Thome just missed that....and terrible camera work by Comcast. Good base running by Iguchi.

fathom
Santana always does a great job of keeping PK off-balanced. PK might as well just sit on the changeup, and if Santana throws him 3 straight fastballs, sit down.
iguchi=dank
at least we got a guy to 2nd to start it off. much better than 3 and out. plus konerko actually made contact. All in all better than usual QUOTE(Wedge @ Aug 20, 2006 -> 01:18 PM) thing javy can keep them down? hopefully he's juiced up to face santana. Or call it a ballgame

fathom
That's just a great start. That ball landed like a foot in front of Ozuna....why didn't he dive?
BigSqwert
Why do our LFs stand on the warning track regardless of who is batting? Thank god Freddy isn't pitching. He would have showed up Pablo.
fathom
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Aug 20, 2006 -> 06:21 PM) Why do our LFs stand on the warning track regardless of who is batting? That's one of those questions which hopefully will be resolved in the offseason.

That ball landed like a foot in front of Ozuna....why didn't he dive? definetly should have dived. ball wasn't going to go anywhere if he didn't catch it. fathom
Sandy likes to set-up well off the plate for his pitchers. The problem is that this umpire has a very tight zone, and even if Vazquez hits the glove, it's getting called a ball.
