Jim Spencer
The Knights play 2 tonight against Norfolk. All they need is to win one or have Durham lose to Indianapolis and they are Southern Divison Champs Sean Tracey 8-7 is pitching the opener. Jordan4life_2007
I actually wish I could watch this. When was the last time Charlotte won a division title?

Jim Spencer
I actually wish I could watch this. When was the last time Charlotte won a division title? I'm not sure when they last won a division title, but they last won the Governor's Cup in 1999 as a Wild-Card team. Right now the Knights are being NO-HIT in the 6th, 6-
Jim Spencer
Bobby Smith broke up the NO-Hitter in the 5th not the 6th, but they're still loosing 6-0. Sean Tracey lasted 2 2/3 innings Durham is winning so far too, so the Knights are going to have to win the night cap.
Jim Spencer
Indianapolis beat Durham so................................The Knights are Southern Division Champs The Knights lost the 1st game of their Doubleheader and are tied in the 2nd game, not that it matters Edited August 22, 2006 by Jim Spencer

fathom
Why hasn't Fields played for the last few days? Also, my brother will have a front row seat for Broadway's game this wknd. I'll make sure to get the scouting report.
fathom
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Aug 22, 2006 -> 05:10 AM) I heard Flash will be there as well. Make sure they meet up. I thought Flash has to be 100 yards from Broadway at all times?
Jim Spencer
Why hasn't Fields played for the last few days? He hurt his leg a couple of games ago. He's not on the DL though. Jerry Owens is also hurting. With the Playoffs a couple of weeks away and Call-Ups coming up, It's not looking good for a Govenor's Cup. Plus the Knights have been playing Sub .500 since the All-Star break ( 17-24).
