CWSGuy406
Feel free to discuss the absolute pwnage that Detroit has put on us these first two games. I'm pissed that time after time, Kenny Rogers shuts us down. You know, you CAN, in fact, go to the opposite field against him. The gameplan seemingly hasn't changed against this guy. It's a f***ing joke. Go nuts.

If a team is flat, it is the manager's job to motivate them, light a fire under them, tear them a new one...something, anything! Ozzie continues his *Yawn* Ho-hum managing and the team continues to sleepwalk its way through a stretch run.

cgaudin
Ozzie can't go blaming umpires for losses. It sends a bad message to the team and makes the players feel unaccountable for their shortcomings. I don't know why the f*** he hasn't benched a starter yet. It is crystal f***ing clear. Someone needs his head chopped off, right f***ing NOW! Edited August 23, 2006 by cgaudin

Unfortunately, Ozzie won't quit. It just isn't in his personality. KW won't fire him because KW sticks with his guys and hates to admit a mistake. Ozzie would have to do something monumental to force KW to fire him. A few racial and homophobic epithets aren't going to be enough. I think he'd have to burn a church down. greg775
It's so frustrating, I want to just say I'm done with this team and give up hope, but I can't. Maybe we'll someday pull our head out of our ass but right now we are a terrible terrible excuse for a team. We can do nothing with Det. or Minnesota. It's amazing how bad we are right now against our rivals. It's easy to blame Ozzie. I never get into blasting managers too much. It's the players who are sucking IMO. It brought us a WS championship, end of story. However, managers can wear out their welcome very fast, and it looks like this team has quit on Ozzie. If Ozzie can't motivate these guys, then no one can. However, if Ozzie says another stupid thing, I have no doubt he's gone.

Hiring Ozzie wasn't a mistake, just like the Carlos Lee trade wasn't a mistake. Those can't be mistakes, because we won a World Championship. But it's 2006 now and people need to realize this isn't a World Championship team anymore.

If Ozzie had another one of his rants and called someone a f@g or something like that, do you really think KW would fire him? MLB would suspend him for a few games, fine him, mandate more sensitivity training and KW would say some mildly harsh words about how he takes this seriously and that this kind of thing can't happen again. RockRaines
We need to break up the Kong-Thome 1-2 punch. Or just put Dye in the 3 hole. It will make the offense better.
